Pick a unit
As previously stated, NCT is split into subunits. There are four: NCT U, NCT 127, NCT DREAM and WAYV. Read on to find more about the individual units!
NCT U
NCT U is the subunit that started it all back in 2016. They came out with the digital singles The 7th sense and Without you. Members in the unit are not fixed and change every comeback, their last comeback having been in 2018. The unit released Boss and the members included were: Taeyong, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Jungwoo, Lucas, Mark and Winwin.
NCT U doesn't have a certain style so to say, but they are well known for their mature and sexy looks on stage.
NCT 127
NCT 127 quicky followed up NCT U with a comeback merely months later. They released the album NCT #127 with the title track Fire Truck. Members are occasionally added to the group but not taken away. Their most recent comeback was with the repackaged version of their debut album featuring the new title track Regular (along with several new songs). Members as of then are Taeil, Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Winwin, Jungwoo, Mark and Haechan.
NCT 127 also doesn't hold itself to one style. They tended to go for a sexy look but the release of "Touch" really showed their duality. One thing for sure is that NCT 127 has killer choreo.
NCT DREAM
NCT DREAM followed quickly behind NCT 127s debut in 2016. They released the single Chewing Gum which was later added into the album The First. Their most recent comeback was (for an SM Station) Candle Light, a single yet to be in an album. The member lineup is based off of age but the group consited of Chenle, Haechan, Jaemin, Jeno, Jisung, Renjun and Mark. Mark has now left NCT DREAM seeing as he has turned 19.
Seeing as the unit has the youngest members, NCT DREAM has mostly had cutesy comebacks up until not too long ago. With their release of "Go", the boys are attempting to show their more mature side.
WAYV
WAYV is the most recently debuted subunit, seeing as they debuted in January 2019. The unit consists solely of Chinese members, so not only are they with SM Ent. but also Label V (a Chinese company). They released the Chinese version of Regular and have a digital album consisting of three songs. The members seem to stay the same and currently are Kun, Winwin, Ten, Lucas, Hendery, Xiaojun and Yangyang.
Seeing as their debut was not too long ago it's hard to say exactly what concept they shall hold. Their version of Regular has shown off their skills though, their music video showing off some amazing dance moves and more.
